Charlotte is carrying on her family’s tradition at Gloucester-based Target Catering Equipment and she describes the catering equipment industry as being “in her blood”. She joined the 27-year-old firm while still at college in 2007 and through her degree studies at University of Gloucester, graduating with a BA in human resource management in 2011.
She embraces new technology and manages all of the firm’s HR duties and marketing output. Her colleagues also credit her as being the instigator for developing a joint engineering apprenticeship scheme with Gloucestershire Engineering Training. “We had to find a training provider that would work with us to develop a sheet metalwork fabrication and welding apprenticeship, and Charlotte has been instrumental in setting it all up
and getting it all organised,” Catering Insight was told.
She has developed an understanding and passion for helping Target’s customers find cost savings and efficiency benefits, supported by the incredibly knowledgeable and skilled team and second-to-none stainless steel catering fabrication at the company.
As well as designing and installing kitchens, the company can provide state of the art, bespoke induction ranges. The pride Charlotte and the rest of the Target team take in delivering the company’s products and solutions never wanes.
