Kevin Davis is not just a business leader, he is an industry leader. He has held a number of positions within the Catering Equipment Distributors Association (CEDA) over the last few years. From being an active member of the CEDA Technical Steering Group and then moving onto the role of regional chairman for the Midlands and North West region, he is currently vice chairman of CEDA and is due to take over as chairman in April 2016.
Not content with this, as managing director of Professional Kitchen Service (PKS) he has led the transformation of the business into its current position as one of the industry’s leading independent national service companies. It provides a nationwide after-sales solution to many of the industry’s leading national accounts.
With over 30 years of experience in the foodservice industry and by listening to what customers need, Kevin continually develops PKS’ customer-driven solutions into market leading solutions.
PKS was formed in 2004 as a management buyout of the in-house service operations of Electrolux Foodservice in the UK, a company that itself was created some years earlier by the merger of Crypto Peerless and Stott Benham, two of the best known names in the British catering equipment market. The company grew its turnover by 25% in 2014 and is on target for similar growth in 2015, making Kevin a real business leader.
