Michael Parry celebrates his 10th anniversary with Sigma Catering Equipment this year, and throughout that time he has been a loyal and integral member of the team, and instrumental to the growth of the company.
The early part of his career was focused primarily on computer aided design work for foodservice equipment installations, but he is now more heavily involved in sales and project management for the Tyne & Wear-based organisation.
Sigma Catering Equipment has always been strong in public sector projects — landing contracts with organisations ranging from Newcastle University, Stockton Central Library and St Bead’s Sixth Form College — but Michael has pushed deeper into the private sector, a key goal of the company.
That has helped the business bag deals from the likes of John Whitehead Park Cafe in Stockton and Newcastle-Upon-Tyne’s Holiday Inn kitchen.
