Jason Fish always ensures that HK Projects is never afraid of looking to new technology and innovation to solve the companys clients operational problems. Pushing boundaries and seeking out innovative solutions is in his DNA, and he enjoys inspiring his company to be the first to take a bold step.
Towards the end of last year he drove HK Projects to do just that, when he specified the first UK installation of the Enviropure system food waste elimination solution for Cats College Cambridge. The new facilities have to cater for over 400 students from up to 50 different nationalities, around the clock, so any equipment choice was vital.
Jason and his team did their homework though and understood Enviropures unique capabilities. They very quickly saw the brand as a green solution to handle all food waste, with only grey water produced which can be sent to drain.
Last year also saw Jason lead the Sheffied-based dealer to complete a swift refurbishment for Fischers restaurant at Baslow Hall in Derbyshire. HK Projects worked seamlessly together with the site and manufacturer MKN to minimise downtime. In total it took just 10 days to remove the old equipment and fully refurbish the room, kitting it out with the latest in foodservice technology from MKN.
Jason knew how imperative it was to turn the project around quickly, so he and his team worked through the night to ensure it was executed on time. Going above and beyond the call of duty is surely the sign of a true industry innovator.
